Why do I need a Survey?

A Mortgage Valuation is not a Survey. The valuation the lender carries out is to determine whether the property is worth the amount you are seeking to borrow. It is not a detailed inspection of the building and valuations are often even calculated without visiting the property.

A thorough inspection by a professional surveyor is the only way to understand the condition of the building you are buying. All our surveyors are accredited by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and are members of the Royal Property Surveyors Association (RPSA).
